IE Portal User Resources and Trainings

The IE Portal facilitates systematic collection, analysis, and reporting of information related to planning and assessment of Program and Student Learning Outcomes. The IPA Office provides Institutional Effectiveness (IE) Portal trainings for all campus units. The training is designed to support FSU faculty and staff in navigating and reporting IE Assessment Results and Plans in the university IE Portal housed in the Nuventive Premier Platform.

Beginning in the 2020-21 cycle, the IE Portal has a new user interface and several new features. For existing IE Representatives who are familiar with the prior version of the platform, the IE Portal User Guides should provide enough information on the changes and updates. For new users of the IE Portal, we recommend attending one of the scheduled training sessions. Please contact ipa@fsu.edu to request a custom training session for your program/department.

All Summer-Fall 2021 IE Portal training sessions for different university units will be delivered remotely via zoom. Exact dates and times are listed below. Please sign up to attend, and we will send you the zoom meeting details. If you are uncertain of the type of unit your program/department belongs to, you may reference the Org Tree for IE assessment. IE Assessment and IE Portal Consultations/Working Meetings

Throughout the year, IPA staff are available for in-person, virtual and over-email consultations and working meetings. These communications are intended to be focused on reviewing, discussing, designing, and completing all required IE Assessment components: Student Learning Outcomes (and Program Outcomes if applicable), assessment methodology, results and their analysis, and improvement actions. In addition, they can be focused on entering content into the IE Portal for your unit and/or conducting a custom IE Portal training session. You can view available slots and reserve a consultation or a working meeting here. After the date/time slot is booked, please schedule a companion zoom meeting and send the meeting details to gtabulda@fsu.edu (for IE Assessment) or cjessee@fsu.edu (for IE Portal). Finally, you can also email us at ipa@fsu.edu and request review of, and written feedback on, your program’s assessment Plans and Results and/or the formatting and completeness of entries in the IE Portal.
